Challenge: This mid-sized grocer had lost some of its luster and, coupled with incursions from local and national competitors, was at risk of losing its premium positioning. The challenge was how to update the Woodlands Market brand without losing any of its core equities in personalized service, locally-sourced products and community involvement.
Solution: Based on a thorough market audit NGC articulated a more powerful positioning for the brand and brought this to life via a vibrant new logo that reinforced Woodland's commitment to "quality" and "community". The new logo and design system were extended in-store, on packaging, online and across Woodlands'
many marketing activities to create a stronger and more unified brand.
New Growth: Today Woodlands Market enjoys continued business success, adding new stores in Tiburon and San Francisco.
